No jargon, no hidden steps

Three steps. Nothing charged until you say so.

Most of these sites hide the pricing and the process. Here's exactly what happens, in order, and what each step costs.

Step 1 — free

Find out more

Low-commitment, low-pressure. Read the site, the articles, the case studies. No form to fill in, no email required. The goal here is just to work out whether this makes sense for your business before anyone talks to anyone.

Step 2 — free chat consultation

A real conversation, no pitch

Send a short note through the contact form — name, contact details, roughly what's slowing you down. I reply personally, usually within a working day. This is a conversation, not a sales call — the goal is to work out together whether a Working Diagnosis is worth doing, not to close anything.

Step 3 — Working Diagnosis, £199

A report on your actual bottlenecks

I consult with you to identify bottlenecks based on your real working day and habits — not a generic questionnaire. You get a detailed report on how to overcome them, plus one specific area you could automate quickly and efficiently. The report is yours to keep, whether or not you go any further.

Alongside the report, you also get one small, ready-to-use AI tool or prompt (a ready-made instruction you paste into ChatGPT or similar, that does one specific job) — something genuinely minor, built and handed over on the spot, so you walk away with proof in hand, not just a plan on paper.

If you engage my services afterwards, the £199 is refunded off your first invoice — a credit against the work, not a separate cashback promise.

What this buys: the plan — what your version of the bottleneck-fix would look like, mapped to your business — plus that one small tool, built for real. What it doesn't buy: the actual work of implementing the big fix. That's a deliberate line — the small win comes pre-built, the big one stays a plan until you engage further. See the worked example below for what that distinction looks like in practice.

Why charge for a diagnosis at all?

Because finding the bottleneck has real value on its own — most businesses have never had someone actually look. £199 buys a genuine piece of work you keep either way, not a disguised sales call. Payment is arranged directly, by bank transfer, once the diagnosis is booked.

What "agents, not chatbots" actually looks like

A chatbot answers on the spot and hopes it's right. This drafts, and you check it before it goes anywhere. One worked example, using a bottleneck almost every local business actually has.

Phase 1 — know who's actually still worth talking to

01 audit

Your existing database

Every contact you've built up — most businesses have never had time to check who's still live.

02 agent

The agent checks who's real

Live email, live number, live website, recent activity, still trading — checked, not guessed.

03 human

You get a scored, ranked list

Not a bigger list — a truer one. Ranked by how live and relevant each contact actually is.

Phase 2 — reach them where they already are

04 agent

Agent maps the right channel

Google, Facebook, TikTok, email, or content — matched per contact, not blasted at everyone.

05 agent

Soft, educational content runs

Not a cold call — content and outreach built to inform, so the contact comes to you.

06 human

They reach out — a real person follows up

Your caller's time now goes entirely on warm, confirmed leads. Same person, more valuable hours.

"This isn't the limit of what's possible — it's a way of showing you how I think. The £199 buys you the plan for exactly this: what your version of Phase 1 would look like, mapped to your business. Not the work itself."

Before you reach out

The questions people are actually thinking

Is AI just hype?

Some of it, honestly, yes — and you're right to be sceptical. The test I use isn't "should I have AI," it's "is there a real, specific bottleneck costing me hours or money, and can something check or draft part of that safely." If the answer's no, you don't need this, and I'd rather tell you that for free than sell you something you didn't need.

Can it actually help my business?

Maybe — depends entirely on your business, not on how impressive the technology sounds. That's exactly what the free chat is for: a plain, honest read on whether it's worth going any further, before either of us spends any money finding out.

I don't have a clue about AI. Will I feel out of my depth?

No, and if you do, that's my failure to explain it, not yours to feel bad about. Plain English, jargon explained the moment it shows up, as many times as it takes. See the plain-English explainer if you want a running start before we talk.

Why don't you recommend chatbots?

Because they're close to the lowest form of AI there is, in my view. A chatbot answers on the spot and hopes it's right — it doesn't check anything, doesn't remember, doesn't actually do anything in your business. Agents do a job in steps, with a human checking before anything ships. That difference is most of what OptimisedLead actually is.

Is the free chat really free, no obligation?

Yes. No card details, no pressure, no follow-up calls you didn't ask for. I reply personally, usually within a working day. Nothing is charged until you choose to book the £199 Working Diagnosis — and even that's yours to keep either way.
